There are ‘Great Days Out' to be experienced in the country on BMW Caulfield Cup Day (Avoca, Bendigo, Hamilton, Wodonga), Tatts Cox Plate Day (St Arnaud, Yarra Valley, Tatura), AAMI Victoria Derby Day (Healesville, Mortlake, Mt Wycheproof, Latrobe Valley), Emirates Melbourne Cup Day (Bairnsdale, Echuca, Horsham, Mansfield, Mildura, Moe, Wangaratta) and Crown Oaks Day (Warrnambool, Pakenham).
There's a country race meeting during the 50 days of the Spring Racing Carnival that will suit you, with 90 meetings scheduled including more than 20 country cups.

The 150th Melbourne Cup Carnival is a fully ticketed event for all four days, so tickets must be purchased before you get to Flemington. If you book a marquee, restaurant, the Banks Enclosure or a reserved grandstand seat, your racecourse admission is already included in your package. If you're heading for a general admission area of the racecourse, you must pre-purchase your entrance ticket through Ticketmaster on 136 100 or
